PTA HAS something for everyone
It exists to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and their community. It brings people together to work for one common cause OUR CHILDREN!
Here are some of the programs, events and services we have supported in the past. But we can not continue without YOU!!! We need your help as a volunteer and/or attendance at the PTA meetings. We want to hear your voice.
| Super Reader |
An extra-curricular daily reading program in which students earn prizes for reaching program goals. Volunteers are needed to tally and record minutes read on a weekly basis for their child's class and distribute prizes earned. (October - March) |

| Red Ribbon Week |
Drug Awareness Week with daily activities intended to strengthen our children's resolve to say no to drugs. (October) |

| Teacher Appreciation Week |
A week of daily activities where students and parents are encouraged to express their appreciation to our teachers and staff. Volunteers would coordinate, arrange and carry out the weeks activities. (May) |

| Festivals / Carnivals |
A school-wide celebration to include games, entertainment and food. In addition to committee members needed to plan the event, volunteers are also needed on the day of the event to set-up, staff stations and clean-up. (October and/or April) |

| Boxtops / Campbell Soup Labels |
Volunteers needed to collect and prepare boxtops and Labels for Education for submission. (October/February) |

| Fundraisers |
Volunteers needed to help distribute student orders on the day the product is delivered. (Twice a Year) |

| Founder's Day |
Honorary Service Awards presented to teachers, community leaders and outstanding volunteers. Volunteers needed to serve on committee to select honorees, order awards and organize school assembly. |

| Riso Runner |
Assist office staff with copying materials as needed by teachers and the school. |
| Vision and Hearing Screening |
Volunteers needed on screening days. |
| Picture Day |
Volunteers needed on picture days. (Twice a Year) |
| Book Fair for Library |
Volunteers needed to help with book sales. (One a Year) |
| Spanish Translator |
Volunteers needed to translate PTA newsletters and flyers into Spanish. |
